Today's attic cut out
« on: June 04, 2009, 11:31:16 pm »
Temps. ranging from 103 to 109, low ceiling, no smoke, makes for an interesting removal. Being 64 years old doesn't help much either.

Sure glad I had ski to help.

That's dedication.  How do the combs hold up at those temperatures?  (Asks the guy who lives where the temperature rarely climbs above 70.)

I think that must be an imposter, the Iddee I know never wears a shirt when removing bees! ;)

Great job, hope you had plenty of refreshments with you.

Now that was a tough cut out for sure!!!

You really have to love bees to go get them like that. Iddee you are the man, no veil and rolling around on the floor with the bees, GO MR. IDDEE GO  :-D

I'm with JP on having plenty of refreshments on a job like that, can dehydrate quick if not careful.

G3
those hot bees will have you steppin and a fetchin like your heads on fire and your keister is a catchin!!!

Bees will be bees and do as they please!

JP, I only remove my shirt if the bees start stinging me. Those bees were extremely gentle. There was a thunder storm going on outside while doing that removal, and I still only got 15 to 20 stings. They were complete baby dolls.

And, YES, water by our side at all times.

Iddee, you do realize that most people would put their shirts on when the bees started stinging them right? :-D

I understand where you're coming from, I think.

Only 15-20 sting eh? I guess you could call that a success??!!
To bee or not to bee that is the question I wake up to answer that every morning...
