laydown yard
« on: December 16, 2008, 06:34:00 pm »
I used my 15 acre hay field to unload a semi-load of bees that will be scattered around to different yards around my farm.  They are still stacked 2-3 pallets high till they get moved out.  Here is a couple of pics from the other day.

Here is a close up.

I'm chomping at the bit, but In due time I will be ready. I have a friend that goes every year and makes the bulk of his money there. You hear all these horror stories from the beesource guys but I've never heard but good things from my friends that go.  These in the pic belong to a guy I met from Ohio and He said he would like to take them there. I actually have a cousin out there that has a small almond farm that I need to start leaning on and reminding them I'm family... :)

Dallas,
Where in Lake City are you Dallas? It is getting cold and I am half tempted to pack up the hillbilly motorhome and head your way!!! You need a good maintainence guy??? The wife and kids could work all those new bees you just got :-D :-D :-D
Our high temp tomorrow is supposed to be 15F,,,, AAAAAHHHHHHHH
Those new bees look mighty cool, good luck with those. That is great.
Congrats. Just having that many around would be cool just to hang out, watch and listen.
For sure
