Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

OK....
Made that last comment a bit tongue and cheek...But decided to call just to be sure.  :)

Have made repeated attempts with no answer.  I've also tried confirming through my reservations with Travelocity, however, they have the same number and can't reach them either.  Hoping, and thinking that it's most likely a phone line issue, but I'll try and get confirmation.

A lady at work talked to her sister in Macon a few minutes ago. The power and land line phone were still out at her house located on the south side of Macon.

I'm glad to hear everybody (that we know of) is ok and hope no one else was harmed.

Standby for the calls to Bud...."I've got a tree blown down...and it's full of bees...can you come get it?".  See, Moot, you might get a tree cut-out, too! :)

Ya'll be careful and have fun this weekend...maybe one day I'll make it over to the gathering.  Does Bud have a vanilla shake machine at his house?

It got rough here in Central Arkansas last night.
These spring time storms can be something else for sure.
