Title: Hi from Crete, Greece
Post by: tanam on August 23, 2006, 03:29:31 pm
Hi to all of you!  We haven't started beekeeping yet, but are hoping to start.  We are still in the researching and pricing stage at the moment.  My husband and I are complete novices but are keen to begin our relationship with the bee population! Hopefully you guys will be able to help us on our way.

The Isle of Crete, the Turkish half or the Greek half?  I spent a year in Turkey 40 years ago.  Welcome to the forum.

Crete is all Greek.  Cyprus is half and half! Thank you for your welcome Brian.

Welcome Tara & Manos!

My Uncle (Surname Kromis), was born there.
I've never visited there, but his photos of the village where
he was raised were striking! His two sisters were
Nuns in the local Greek church.

Wishing you both good luck with beekeeping.

I told a guy I could speak every language but Greek. He started rambling a foreign language I didn't understand. He said I thought you knew all but Greek. I said"Well that sounds Greek to me!"
