Awesome video JP. After experiencing the exact same thing just recently myself I know how cool it is to be there with them swarming around like that.

JP,
Another great video, You sounded like a kid with his hand in the cookey jar while mom was out of the kitchen. If you listen carefully you can hear your self giggling.

Hey JP, I have not heard of that guy with the link that you posted. He's doing some great stuff. Looks like hes in your area and is foraging some things that I cannot. Hope he inspired you!

He was in my area last summer but hails from the U.K. Really good guy.

Hey JP, As a fellow bearded dude I have a question for you. I see your avatar pic and you have the bee beard thing rockin' . I've always wanted to do that but was thinking that the bees wouldn't be to keen on my facial hair. How do you get them to go on your chest only? Maybe I need a tutorial on how to "Make" a bee beard in general. I've heard about keeping a caged queen on a string around your neck. Is that how you did it? Maybe this needs a new thread.......
-
That's exactly what I did. Queen cage hanging from my neck. We were just sitting around shooting the breeze and this swarm ensued. Thought we'd have a little fun passing the time.
