another question--re:Langstroth modification

Howdy,
Although I am usually not much of a gadgeteer----I am keenly interested in the Langstroth modification kit from the bee works in Ontario,Canada. Does anyone out there have experience with this type of modification? The claims really seem attractive. It consists  of a 90 degree turn with a ventilation roof as well as a ventilation box(screened in)it is supposed to maximize production and curing. I will  definitly appreciate any ideas before a purchase. :?:

latebee,

I purchased a mod kit a few years back and have since converted most of my hives to my own version which includes a screened bottom board (David Erye is not keen on the SBB, but I like the added ventilation).

I find the cover big and bulky and prefer to normal telescopic cover on top of the ventilation box.
