Hello, my name is danny and I must say finding out about this forum got me really excited because I have had a huge interest in bee's for about two years and finally starting my own hive this april when some bees are available. A little about me, im 19 and live in gilroy, california. Im a college student majoring in Engineering. Some plans i have this year as a beekeeper would be raising some nucleus hives to expand the number of hives i will have to take advantage of the many fields of strawberries and orchards that surround my home, I am still new so if there is any flaw in my planning or suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated.
Danny
P.S, I have read many books about beekeeping and also have observed my father in action as he has some hives himself, but he wont let me touch them.

Glad to have you Danny.
That's unusual that your dad won't let you touch his hives. Most of the time beekeepers can't wait to share the hobby with others.
I bet when you have your own hives though, you'll do great.
