Title: Beginner's Gratitude
Post by: Robkimmell on March 28, 2011, 02:53:44 am
Although I kept bees as a 4-H project in the 60's, I call myself a beginner.  Got my first langstroth hive a year ago and then started learning about bee removal.  Built two top bar hives. Now have 3 colonies, 2 langs and one top bar.  The local beekeeper of 54 years has asked me to do swarm and bee removal for his calls, so I hope to learn a lot about that at this site.  Thanks .... Bees Here Now!

Geeesh! Annette. Pretty forward of you don't you think?
Don't worry Rob.
Annette asks that of all the newbees.
But she is really harmless.
She doesn't show up at many back doors..... :lau:

Keeping bees has change a little since the 60s but they are still fun.  Welcome to the forum.
