I did an extraction yesterday, unfortunately the foggy marine layer settled in, and the high temp for the day was predicted to be 66 with no trace of sun. The honey was just not going to flow.
I got out the trusty Robo Vac, stacked up 4 supers, and put a cheapo hair dryer on the hose inlet.
In 15 minutes the air flowing out the outlet was a toasty 85, I rotated another set of supers onto the stack, and the extraction was saved.
((I know, my whining about cold foggy days likely doesn't sit well with some of you folks sweltering through the heat wave, but hey, its a problem too.))
Thought Robo would love to know that the Bee Vac works like a charm to warm supers. Even the sloping floor works to collect the drips nicely.
