Hello from Slovenia - land of Apis mellifera carnica
« on: October 28, 2007, 01:39:15 pm »
Hello to all beekeepers!

Bees are my life and passion! I have more then 10 years of beekeeping experience. My basics of beekeeping has its roots in family tradition.

I am looking for contact with beekeepers, particularly beekeepers from New Zealand.

hi   :-)  i think we have some of your country mates here.  check the membership map.  it may help you connect with some New Zealanders.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

For us young (to beekeeping) pups the more with experience the merrier.  Those who are new or thinking about joining... you've asked questions that I never thought of or could not put into words.  Thanks! :-D
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)

BeeQuest.  Thanks for posting in our forum, you should spend some time here, lots of beekeepers, news ones and very seasoned ones.  I like the Carniolan breed, by the way, I have a couple of Carniolan colonies and the others are Italian.  Many good attributes the Carniolans have.  Anyways, welcome.  Have a great and wonderful day.  Cindi
