Title: New to Beekeeping
Post by: Newtobees on February 22, 2014, 03:19:02 pm
Hello everyone!

I've have recently begun to research beekeeping and have found that I have a great interest in learning more and maybe one day starting my own hive.  I really don't know where this will lead, but mostly am interested in learning more about beekeeping, the importance of bees to our environmental condition, and what I can do to support local bee and plant health.  I look forward to reading the many posts in the forums on these topics and gaining knowledge!

I live in Southeastern VA near the town of Urbanna and would love the opportunity to meet with anyone local to learn about beekeeping in my area.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum, New.  You can check, there is probably a local bee club also.  Once you get started reading and learning you will have to get some.  you will have caught the bug.
