Title: learned helplessness, about bee and varroa

I was in a conference about gender violence or domestic violence any days ago . A very hard law -zero tolerance- will finish with that violence in Spain. I was listening to the psycologists, and they were speaking about an idea that took my attention, the learned helplessness, and its consecuences, depression...Of course, my imagination during any seconds of the conference was with the bees, my bees and the fatal varroa. Can one bee family develope a learned helplessness? :roll:
Or perhaps my imagination is very  :mrgreen:
