You still have to pour slowly. Hopefully the bees will crawl out of the tube faster than you can fill it.
I used to use a 1/2 hose off a backpack sprayer hooked directly to the tank.

i added some notches in the wood so its easier to pry the cap off with the hive tool! see pic
