first time success
« on: April 17, 2006, 10:02:46 am »
:D  Just wanted to let the world know that I successfully worked with bees for the first time!  I got two Nucs Saturday night, trasported them home, got up early Sunday morning and transferred to the hive boxes.  Very excillarating(?)!  NO STINGS either.  I was surprised how easy they were to work with.  By mid afternoon they were all over my wifes flowers and my garden.  So far so good.

Congradulations.
Remember to be just as excited and understanding when things don't go so well. :)
