SAD Day I think that a good % of the Bees in my good hive SWARMED today :-(!  :'(  :-x

Shoulda done a SPLIT about a week or 2 ago.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

They will build back up. Although swarming is undesirable for us, its actually a sign of a healthy hive.

Take a good look around, you may be able to find them.

Shoulda done a SPLIT about a week or 2 ago.

Splitting will give you more colonies if that's what your trying to accomplish, but keeping your broodnests open will give you stronger colonies and minimize swarming.  With allowing bees to swarm you always take the chance that your new virgin queen won't make it back resulting in a queenless hive.  Its a set back anyway because queen has to start from scatch.  Swarm prevention should be practiced by those beeks who want to KEEP bees.
