Ultra Breeze Jacket
« on: May 27, 2016, 01:33:44 am »
I bought a cheap overall type bee suit with fencing hood - been a few months now and the wires are poking out of the hood and stabbing me, and it's a pain in the arse to keep taking on and off. Looking at getting just a jacket with hood - the 'Ultra Breeze' ones look good (the very meshy ones) but not sure where to get them in Australia.

Anybody know?

I think Mann Lake ships to Australia. I now have 2 of theirs. I recommend them.

I got mine from ebay, I'm not sure its a brand but its a mesh ventilated full suit and has done the job for a while now.

Its my go too suit on warm days and testy bees 😊

Cost about $120 to my hobart door

Thanks all - I ended up finding a Chinese brand on eBay with free shipping and a good cost - but forgot it was in USD, so a bit more than what I was figuring! Looks like it'll do the job.

Flycaster - I didn't know you got warm days in Hobart?

Although they do currently seem like a distant memory currently....

I was thinking about trying something like this

Or

They all look similar. Prob from same factory in China.

Yep mine looks pretty identical to the jacket (http://www.beekeepinggear.com.au/#!product-page/c826/e8f976c6-6d2c-1195-6a0f-b148fa1d973b)

Wish I had seen that earlier, I think I paid a bit more for mine!
