When you loose a swarm...
« on: April 17, 2007, 07:56:10 pm »
This time of year what long term effect does loosing a swarm out of a hive have as far as honey production...?  I've heard that they recover in time to produce a good crop of honey.  Another one of my hives swarmed today...

Thanks......

You'll always get less honey than you would have.  That doesn't mean, in a good year, you won't get any.
