Old house hive
« on: March 15, 2008, 11:50:42 pm »
Howdy all,
I went to the lumber yard Friday to pick up some 1 by stuff to make some new boxes and the owner and I got to talking about beekeeping.  Turns out he has an old house on his place he wants to tear down and it has a hive in a wall that needs removal.  My wife and I looked it over and looks to be a bit easier than the two-story job we did last year.  Will post pictures when the weather fairs, we had snow flurries today, was near 60 yesterday.  I'm getting anxious.

David, hey, now isn't that just nice?  Sounds like the job will be pretty simple, and especially since the house is going to be torn down anyways, you don't have to worry about fixing any damage, nor does he, hee, hee.  Yeah, so you will get some new bees to add to yours, that is a wonderful thing, eh?  Bring on those pictures when you get going on it, like Ken said, we love to see the removal pictures.  They are such an insight into what beekeepers "do", well, in some neck of those woods anyways, have a beautiful and greatest of these great days, Cindi
