Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

Those are some very big combs, iddee. My eyes would have been popping out of my head when the wall was removed.

iddee thanks for photos of bee vac, i presume that the vacuum hose goes in front to suck the bees.. and in the back for conecting a shop vac or else... for what is the holes in the sides of box? on the top is lexan or vinyl, plexi glass?
here in Croatia the bees are Carnica (Carnolian) and they are agressive only if honey flow is stopt. also in the spring when salix blooms they are bit a itchy, somtimes on chestnut they like to stung when are no nectar flow only pollen. in my case bees are in near the chesnut forest in willage near Zagreb in a nature park. i put water drink for bees that hawe near by to take a break and focus on a nectar collecting. i pass pollen harvesting becauset that pollen is a great value for summer bees and quiet meadow in the july and august bees for winter.

The holes in side are screened. They are covered with duct tape as needed to control the strength of the vacuum. Plexiglass on the top to see how hard the bees are being sucked in. The little yellow box is a rheostat to control the speed of the vacuum, thus the power of the suction.
