does any one know of a place to get bees in the south west pa area

This time of year i would advise calling your local county extension agent, get the names of the local beekeeping assoc officers and go from there.

I grew up in western PA.  (In New Castle) When I last lived there I was in Erie county, so the beekeper that I knew of there is probably a bit too far away.   He was right on Route 19 but I can't remember if he was north or south of the little town of Waterford.
