Belle Chasse Porch Bees
« on: May 29, 2012, 09:50:59 am »
This removal was done on May 3, 2012. I wish I had my 8' ladder with me that day but made do with the extension ladder.  ;)

I loved seeing all of your various visitors. And I'm pretty sure I'm not coordinated enough to step down the ladder like that with both hands full of comb...very athletic of you, JP!

This was a nice quiet removal... accept for the many fighter jets flying overhead!  :-D  This location is very near a naval base. I tried to get some footage of the jets flying & particularly this one huge cargo plane but I was unable to do so. That little white poodle I could take home, he was that adorable!

Good video.   I did not know that under armor came in lime green.

Did you make splits with the cells - Did they hatch and mate? :bee: :bee:

I gave the hive both cells as I did not find a queen.

Thanks JP for another peaceful, calm removal. That homeowner sure was interested in the bees and that is a good thing.

Take care
