Do you you do the final check up after finishing feeding? Few more gallons and I'll be done with mine.

Weigh the hive for stores--in cold weather that's the last check.

If the hive gives any indications of problems, like it's really hot, or it's got that "queenless roar" then I'd look for a queen.  Otherwise I'd leave them alone.
