Bee escape plans.....?

Does someone have the plans for a bee escape board..? It looks simple to build but a dwg. would be helpful if there's one around. I can find the plans for everything except the escape board.
Thanks.

A bee escape board is simply an inner cover with cutouts (1 or more) that can accept a bee escape. If you have plans for an inner cover you have plans for bee escape board.

Thanks Brian, but I was talking about the escape board that has the triangular pattern from wood strips attached to the inside of the board. They have a small gap at each 120 deg. corner of the triangle....

Make the triangle 3/8 inch apart and cut the corners so the gap is 1/4 inch wide.

I'm not sure what you mean " make the triangle 3\8" apart ". The 1\4" corners is about what I thought.

The triangle escape board uses 2 triangles, 1 inside the other, set 3/8 apart. The spacing is so the bee can't turn in the channel to keep it going in only one direction. The triangles are also covered with screen.
Drill a 1 inch hole in the center of an inner top. Cut a strip of wood 3/8 by 3/4 inches. The 3/4 is the width of the wood. Cut lengths to make a triangle and then cut out the points to make a 1/4 inch opening. Make another triangle 1/4 to 3/8 inches away from the 1st and cut the points as before.

Try this site for a single Triangle bee escape
http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/triangleescape.html
Then you can look at his double Triangle bee escape
http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/doubleq.html
Use the measurements that Brian Bray gave you for sizing of the separations for the inner and outer pieces and the escape size at the points

Here is a plan view showing the outside measurements for a single, just add the second row of wood strip inside these measurements with a 3/8" between the two rows of wood.

I actually made this bee escape (
http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/vortexescape.html
). It took me about 2 hours to make it, but it works quite well. There were about 10 - 12 bees left in the box when I removed it.

I see there are other bee escapes than the triangle design. Are there any views on which is best.

Thanks, I can make them (shipping to Australia is too expensive).
Does anyone out there use any other type - I am interested in reviews of the other methods, such as the Porter Escape.

The Porter Escape is many, many years old.
When they work they work, springs lose tension, springs stick, bee gets hung up !
