noticed alot of bees flying in the street yesterday evening, and they piled into a ligustrum in the neighbors yard next to the street. Shook them in a nuc and caged the queen. she is a dark one, with no mark. I assume its from a hive somewhere to the west. I have been open feeding for a couple months now and have been noticing bees leaving the feeders and heading west and not to a hive I have. I just recently went through the hives and marked all my queens and there were no queen cells. The queen in this one was not marked. I think this may be froma hive real close. soo, this is a little swarm that will probly get combined with a wad of bees this week.

heh I think its funny that they came basically to my backyard with the 21 hives, 5 gallon feeders, and a bunch of empty boxes and nucs. I was wondering if the were thinking hey lets join the bee party here.
