Title: 1 outta 3 ain't bad and I got the queen!

Got two swarm calls yesterday, right on time. The two yesterday were a no go. One left to find their new home right when I was leaving the house, bum leg and all. Other one entered a brick wall and wasn't able to get them out. This evening got another 911 dispatch call, spoke with the guy who made the call, said his windshield was covered in bees and he had to use the wipers. He told me where the bees had clustered and I was able to go over and locate the cluster. Don't know if it was much bigger than what I caught because of the wiper trauma but it was a relatively small swarm. Good news though, the queen was unharmed. New hive and a swarm at that, they build up fast from swarms. Yippe kaye!!! Did I spell that right. Hey, when I sniffed some of their butts you could really smell the nasonov. Hope ya'll enjoy the pics.

 Do you have any kind of contract you use to limit your liability on your cutouts? There is one here in Rockmart, Ga that I want to try my luck in but they have been in the walls of this storage house for years. I don't want to get hit for too many repairs when I get into this one, If I ever do get into it.

Steve, I usually don't use a contract. I have when I deal with large companies etc.. but most of my customers are home owners. I carry insurance. Type you something up and have a carbon copy so you and the person commissioning you can both sign it and ya'll both wind up with a copy. Spell everything out and explain it clearly, then question them so you know they understand, try and get them to repeat back to you what you plan to do, so you know they really understand. Have fun and do what you say you will.

One other good thing I percieve is with the amount of calls you apparently get for swams is that the ferral bee population is alive and well in your area  :-D
