A friend asked me this the other day, and I found that I couldn't really answer the question definitively, so I thought I would consult the masters. I was telling my friend that, depending on whats in bloom, where the bees are foraging, geography, etc., how different nectars will result in different tasting honey...
Knowing that I keep Russians and Carniolans, she then asked if the race of bee affected taste (assuming that they were forgaging in the same areas, of course). The Carni's are currently about to get their share of honey extracted, so I haven't been able to directly compare the two races directly yet.
So....
WOULD the race of bee matter in a taste test? Because I was guessing "no".
