Hive removal on 11/24/12
« on: November 28, 2012, 07:49:24 pm »
A friend beek had a removal to do and he did not have the available boxes so he asked me to take them and hive had to go. Would rather left them with the colder temps that day but no choice in the matter. Removed ten frames of brood/pollen/honey and a whole lot o bees. Put a medium box of honey from another hive on them and they are doing good. Checked for the queen but had not seem her yet. Just excited to get another hive after losing three during hurricane Issac. Also found a guy who has 300 acres that I am able to put all the bees I want on his place and placed three there so far. If you were wondering I am about 30 drive from around JP in the New Orleans area and so far mild temps.
Psalm 19:9-10
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea ,than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
