Had to seal them up - now a bunch are clustered
« on: April 26, 2010, 03:47:12 pm »
Went to do a removal but they are in a concrete wall.  It was a swarm just a few weeks old and they went in behind a electrical box.

The only reasonable course of action seems to be to seal them up and let them die and hope they don't find another way out.  I hate to do this but a trapout was not going to be pheasible.   I am now wishing that I left this one to a pro....

They called back after 2 days and said they are clustering at the entrance and they say the size of a softball or more.

Could that many bees just be coming back to the hive after not making it back for the night or coming from the source hive?  Or is it more likely that they have found another exit already and just can't get back in?
