A Beek from the UK
« on: June 11, 2007, 04:08:26 am »
Hi, I am Heather from Sussex in the UK. Retired nurse.I started beekeeping last year as my grandson has hayfever and excema, so I want him to have local honey as it will reduce his problem.
I now have 4 hives (having assured my husband I would stop at 2 :-\). All going well, and varroa very minimal for me -so far so good. Good forum here and I appreciate the pics - to a newbie the visual is great.
We have a good site in UK  bbka.org.uk but you dont allow site attaches yet as I am new
Heather
