Title: Is it too late to treat for mites?

I am hoping to order Api Live Var soon to treat for mites before winter. I know its late but is it too late?

As long as your temps are near what the package said,no it's not too late.Just be sure your honey supers are off.I wouldn't even worry if night temps are a little cooler than optimum as it will still be warm inside the hive.

I'm confused.  You do know that bees are insects?

To spray insecticide to kill Varroa?  I'm still confused...

I treat for mites in August and I repeat the treat when it have no brood.
