Tube Bee Vacuum Video review
« on: June 08, 2009, 06:44:45 pm »
I had to finish my Tube Bee Vac for a cutout that was rough this weekend.  I didn't have much use for the Bushkill bee vac because I don't use Lang hives.

This is my first review of its maiden flight.

I also heard this was the 'best bee vac on earth' from a couple of beeks.  I can hold huge amounts of bees, like 15+ pounds I'm estimating.

Once I got to location, I rapped it once to get them to the bottom and poured them out. Very low mortality rate, even at 98 F hot day.

Cons - I'm not sure where to put it on a 60 deg roof or how to hold it on a 3rd floor job. And I still need to tweek the seals and suction spoiler.

Overall, I like it.

Thanks for taking the time to make the video. I had never seen a Bee Vac in action. A couple of simple questions:

A) Are you the person that cuts the holes and removes the siding to get at the bees?

B) Due you make the repairs afterward or is this done by someone else?

C) Do you have help dong this?

Thanks again for making the video.

Regards,
Tucker

I have the information now I need to get off my duff and make one.  Thanks for the video, good job!
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)
