Bee race does not mean much. It is varietes of Italians for example.

From south imported Italians do not survive here. Vain job to make list of races.
And who knows how crossed they are?

Buckfast, some beebreeders mongrel or what?

Finski is right.  The only kinds of bees in this country are the bees that belong to beekeepers, and the feral bees that do not.

Is that two bees, or not two bees? That is the question.

There are lots of types of bees, mostly native to australia but a few imported varieties too. The accidently imported varieties I know of are Apis cerana (Queensland) and Bombus terrestris (Tasmania).
Native bees include stingless, blue banded, carpenter, teddy bears, leaf cutters, and many others you can look up on the internet just as well as I can.

Of Apis mellifera, there are as many varieties as climates of course, such as italian, ligurian, caucasian, carniolan.  No africanized bees here.

Well, that really is a hard question, but there must be a list for each country somewhere I guess, Beeser.  Why do you ask?  What varieties of bee do you have in Croatia?

Beeser, the queen producers in the USA sell a wide variety of queens.  Queens they call Italian, Carniolan, Cordovan, Caucasian, Russian, and mixes.  As others have said, the genetics are surely more mixed than pure breed at this point.  I don’t know what our national statistics are; but in my area (cold climate) the local beeks mostly keep “Italians” and “cariolans”.  I keep both these as well as mixed hybrids from my own mating.
