I captured two more swarms yesterday one lareg and one rather small. THe large one I hived already, but the smaller swarm i captured right at dusk and havent hived yet.... can I combine them with the other swarm in the hive using the newspaper technique? any suggestions? I can do another hive but this swarm is small. THanks for all the help and great info on this site!

The newspaper technique works great for combining swarms. Make sure both have an entrance until they're combined, probably a day or two.

I wouldn't personally. If the only reason is they are small, then put in nuc and feed, fed ,feed. They will produce comb like crazy b/c they are swarm. plenty of time to get them winter ready. I only combine if they would otherwise fail.
