It is a smallish bush, not fragrant. It's not a butterfly bush, I have a few of them around. I'll take some bigger pictures to give a better idea of what it looks like.
The people who lived in our house before us were avid gardeners and retired. There's generally always something blooming, but I don't know what most things are and can't tell if something is a weed or a flower until it blooms (and even then, sometimes I'm not sure). We don't really have the inclination to maintain the huge numbers of beds, so I've been trying to move obvious flowers to other beds and remove some of the beds completely, but it's slow going. Consequently, much of the garden is fairly overgrown. I'm hoping to find something invasive that the bees like a lot, so I can minimize the weed growth and still have something useful.
