What's brown bloody and lies twitching in a ditch?

a brunette that told one too many blond jokes.

How's that?

Yeah, but who was it that beat her up and threw her in the ditch? Since blondes aren't supposed to be able to get blonde jokes. Just sayin'  ;)

I must tell how I know this was an OK joke to post.

This nice little old Christian lady is on one of those Christian email groups. This joke was passed along to her through that Christian group. So it must be fine, right?  :idunno:

Why all this uproar over two spiders.

Talk about misunderstanding.

The spiders weren't gay or queer. Just normal regular long-legged spiders.

What was funny was the dad thinking his daughter was so young, or innocent, or naive, or ignorant, or (simple minded?) that she wasn't aware of the larger world around her, and proven so wrong so abrubtly.

I thought they were making fun of Texans and their narrow mindedness... seems like all the people upset about it thought making fun of Indians was fine...

well I guess we have to understand that it doesn't matter if everyone comes from somewhere and there's plenty of jokes to make "victims" of everyone; there are some groups so weak and pathetic that they need everyone else to be offended on their behalf whenever a hint of an almost fair distribution of abuse is put forward.
be happy and make others happy.

As a white, blond, "well, used to be", redneck, I guess I fit all the "allowables", so go at it and have fun.

Hmmm...thinking I'm one of the only one "upset" about it, I'll assume the reference was directed towards me.  ;)

Is this the thread you are referencing?

http://forum.beemaster.com/index.php/topic,29046.0.html

If you read carefully, I was the only one on that thread that stuck up for anybody. But my point was that if you are going to stick up for Indians (native Americans), perhaps you should consider other groups as well. Personally, I don't think much of anyone that accepts, takes part in, or sits idle, and says nothing about the somewhat questionable conversation regarding blacks, gays, women or any other group, then gets all P.C. when their particular group is all of a sudden thrown into the mix.

I was making a point in that thread. And the point was that while you got all irritated about a joke about Indians, you had no problem when it was suggested it being about another group. And you never considered the other groups in the story. I did. So don't go thinking something different. I don't hear much of a peep from you unless it's hitting close to home. Meanwhile, I am debating and going it alone, laying it on the line.

I'm not native American. I'm not black or African American. I'm not gay. I'm not a women. But I am one that cares about other groups other than the one I am actual am.

Tag....your it.  Or is that too gay...... :-D

"I'm not native American. I'm not black or African American. I'm not gay. I'm not a women."

Is that a known fact, or are you just guessing?

Must be a pretty dang good joke if the replies go for 3 pages!
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
