Are the bee max mouse guards meant to keep out mice? From what I can see they will keep the mice from chewing up the edges of the hive entrance, (but keep them out???) Or, is the narrow entrance enough to keep the mice out? I used 1/2 inch wire mesh for my other hive, (the wood one!) Thanks in advance!
