I am so happy to find this site! I am new to bees. Not by choice- THEY moved in on their own but we are (so far) happy to have them. We might need to move them out of the goat pen tho for obvious reasons! We moved from the East coast of Florida (in the city) to the rural west coast (FL). We (my hubby & I) came bumbling in and have learned soooo much from our mistakes. We just want a peaceful, natural life and boy oh boy- it ain't easy as newbies!
We are in SW FL, smack out in the Everglades, on the edge of a preserve which means tons of wildlife and flora. It's mostly swamps in this area.

Welcome to the wonderful world of bees.  They are fascinating and addictive.  Feel free to ask questions, but be prepared for lots of answers....
