I fed my hives two to three gallons of 2/1 syrup and they took it down quickly (week to ten days).I have since tried to feed back extracted honey that wasn't quite ripe (20% moisture) by using quart jars with four holes in the lids right over the inner cover holes.This seems to going very slowly, is it because there are not enough holes or because the honey is so much thicker and harder for them to pull from the jar.I could put this all out in the open but I'm sure to set off a frenzy that would lead to robbing but I'd bet it would be cleaned up in a day or so verses ? :?
