one more potential marketable bee product.

The media has made a bit of a flurry around the idea, but the research seems to come from a reputable source - Washington University.
The original article from Washington University is online at: http://news.wustl.edu/news/Pages/25061.aspx (http://news.wustl.edu/news/Pages/25061.aspx) and the scientific paper is at: http://www.intmedpress.com/journals/avt/abstract.cfm?id=2346&pid=88 (http://www.intmedpress.com/journals/avt/abstract.cfm?id=2346&pid=88)

They are also using Bee Venom to fight Cancer using Robo Cells.

I think this is kind of funny, in a way. Rigorous scientific study has repeatedly tried and failed for years to strongly support the claims of all the dozens and dozens of different problems apitherapy fans insist bee venom can cure; and yet, out of left field there's now some fairly solid evidence that bee venom can do something that as far as I know apitherapy fans have never claimed it could do. Color me amused.
Hope research into this new find continues.
