Very gentle indeed!  How much of that was honey? Looked like there was quite a bit.

Definitely a good queen to have with her hive's gentle nature.

Nice job Schawee. JP probably would have missed that queen altogether right?

Why did you go above and remove the carpet and then have to cut the floor, when in the apartment below you could have laid some plastic down and just taken a section of sheet rock.  Please explain to newbee thought process behind this approach.
Thx

That certainly looked like fun.  Those are the ones I like, but I usually end up with the jobs requiring you to be upside down and twisted into weird shapes.

Thanks schawee, fun to watch somebody else.

I'm dying to see some gator action though, quit with the bees already and kill something!

Schawee, glad you had the chance to finally put this one up. Great job on a monumental undertaking! At 9:37 I think it is, they really need to add a few more Xs to that banner!  :-D

You really did an awesome job with this one Schawee. Thanks again for taking care of these people!

I will answer this question Jack as I am the one who sold the job. Anyone can cut sheetrock but it takes a professional to remove a section of flooring, remove a hive and put the floor back down!  :-D

Being a little sarcastic, kidding some but also there is truth to my statement.

In a nutshell, cutting the sheetrock is an option but so is the one we took here. If the floor is opened and put back in place the customer doesn't have to deal with a sheetrock repair. This is the option the customer chose and the one I prefer.

Thanks, I see the reasoning, and besides, it is nice to work from a sitting position instead of overhead, I am sure.  I do enjoy going thru all you guys cutout videos.

Jack, I have done my fair share of overhead removals and let me tell you, they suck! I don't really have an affinity for honey dripping down on me!  :-P

Even worse, the last overhead job that we did, the bees had absconded one section and the roaches took over. They turned the old section of hive into 3 inch deep poop that dropped on us when we opened it up. Now that's nasty.
