Cutting down ten frame boxes to eight frames

I'm not cutting all my ten frame equipment down to eight frames.  I posted some pictures of cutting down the boxes and SBB from Brushy Mt. on my web site.  It's most of the way down the page.

Just curious as to the weight difference in a medium 8 frame,
to the old 10 frame boxes?

What if any, is the difference between having more lighter boxes,
if you have more of them stacked up to hold the same amount
of honey come harvest time??? i.e. 80 frames of honey in 10 boxes,
or 80 frames of honey in 8 boxes :?  :?  :?  :?

48 pounds vs 60 pounds for weight.  But those last two frames are the ones furthest from your body and the leverage is agains you so they "weigh" twice as much as the two nearest you.  :)

The difference is all in my back.
