That depends on where you are and what season it happens to be there. If you're in Australia, you might be looking at 2 parts sugar to one part water (or maybe dry sugar), but some parts of the USA might be using 1:1. If it's cold (Autumn/winter), thicker syrup is better so that the bees don't have to try and dry it out when they store it and create moisture problems in the hive. It would probably be good idea to add your location to your profile so that someone in your area can give you some better advice.
