In looking at a place to retire I found some property in Nevada, near Winnemucca. That name tells you a lot, it's remote. Good place to retire but I'm told that between the 115 degree summers and 14 degree winters all I would have would be a bunch of dead bees.
Are there any Nevada beekeepers here?
are there really any special problems?
The main vegetation there is sagebrush, is that the same as "Sage" honey you buy in the store? If it is, it's pretty good.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
