The dont seem to be taking it into the hive, maybe they are making a cave to store food in, anyways, I rotated the step, checked they have enough room and might put another suoer on early.

I cant believe it, they are at it again! They are breaking it into small particles and taking it inside the hive. Digging another hole in their doorstep. The polystyrene doorstep is about 14 x 3 x 3 inches. Its been here for a year and been a landing board. The bees are taking in pollen and nectar and going gang busters. I shoved a lump of wax on t landing board in case they think they need something more to build with, but its got me stumped. I will post pics on the weekend.
