2 Antique Apiary Beekeeping Bee Shipping Box W/ Stamp
just run-of-the-mill queen cages. some people have no idea!
-
Interesting.....
So if the stamp was really used to ship them (I've never seen them ship just the cage), where was the address info?
-
That "really old" 1 cent stamp was first issued in December, 1977.
I must be a super-antique!

Sheesh.

If you could just stick the stamp on the queen directly, you could send her AIR MAIL

The trick is training the queen to read the minature GPS unit so she can find the address. One way to avoid her needing a GPS is to make a robot bee that does the correct "waggle dance". That way she knows exactly how to get there. But you have to get a very accurate robot and it has to be keyed off of a GPS or she could end up in the wrong state. They aren't very patient waiting nt he mailbox either. ;)

And, actually, you've NEVER been able to mail a letter for 1 cent, let alone a queen. EVER.
