For those who have/are using dipped boxes ;
I was told by a old beek to rub the top & bottom bars with paraffin, bees would not attach burr comb to it.
Now I was just wondering about the dipped boxes, any difference in the amount of attached burr comb to the sides ?
Simple minds have simple questions.
Thanks

Paraffin has been painted on the top of basswood comb honey boxes for years to keep them clean, so I would guess it would work the same for supers unless the rosin changes things :?

I dip tops, bottoms, boxes, feeder... Everything but frames.
Mine are dipped in beeswax/rosin, not parafin. I don't see any difference in attachments. But I don't pay any attention to attachments anyway...
