Annette, can you see the way the bees are circled around her?  when they are moving, it is more clear.  after you get a chance to see that behavior a couple of times it starts jumping out at you in a cutout, or in your own hives.  it's not always crystal clear, but you'll get the hang of it.  it's like playing "where's waldo" a bunch of time and all of a sudden you can find waldo without even knowing you were looking   :-D
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

Now do you see her?

JP I tried to do that. How did you do the circle thing you beat me to it.

Irwin, I opened the pic using paint.net which has an assortment of nice tools to choose from and just burrowed a pencil from the list and circled where the queen is.

If you are not familiar with paint.net, its a free download. You can do all sorts of things there like resizing pics.

JP, I bet you'd be a happy camper if the swarms were always so simple to get.  The pics were wonderful.  The woman in one of the pictures, that is your Sister-in-Law?  Seems I have seen her picture before.  Nice shots.  Have that wonderful and most awesome day, health, life. Cindi

Cindi, that nice lady is who called me for that second swarm. She lives in a town called Luling, approx 30 minutes from where I live. I e-mailed her the pictures, she was glad to see them.

Her response:  "I am so impressed... sharing these with everybody!!!  Happy that the bees were safe in their new home since that storm would have drowned some of them out in the open like that!!!  Thanks for taking care of them."
