Title: rearing queens in a queen-right hive
Post by: syphon1 on June 18, 2012, 01:24:35 am
Does anyone here raise queens in a queen-right hive from start to finish?  I don't mean the cloake- board method.  If you do, do you have any tips you're willing to share?

I was thinking about trying this method, but my wife won't let me have more bees in the back yard.

Have fun!

Why would you tell your wife you got more bees?

Oh, I can have more bees, just no more hives.  She hasn't complained, but she likes to play in the yard too.

But I'm having fun!
