New to beemaster
« on: April 23, 2013, 05:41:42 pm »
Hello everyone!  My wife and I have started a very small bee farm in Bullitt County Kentucky, and we are very very very excited!
We are newbies so we do have some questions and from what I have read there are some very wise bee keepers here and we appreciate any advice.
We got our bees in on the 10th, we ordered 3 packages.  Checked the queen cages last weekend and they are all out!

Looking forward to chatting with you guys!

Joe and Jessica Gilbert

Welcome to the forum, BeeFunkrailroad.  You may want to see if there is a local bee club also.  The people here will help all we can, just throw out the thread.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!
There are not any local bee clubs where we are, we had to drive 2 hours to find somebody willing to teach us a little.
We are that couple that orders books and dvd's online to try and learn how to bee keep lol.  Unfortunately it seems like all the important stuff cant be found in books or instructional movies.
Ive already gotten a bunch of help from buzzbee and Bees In Miami and a whole bunch of other very wise bee keepers here! :)
