Yellow Raspberries
« on: September 12, 2011, 12:45:23 am »
I got some of my yellow raspberries before the birds tonight.  I believe this is the cultivar “Fall Gold”.  Look a little strange, yellow and all, but excellent tasting raspberries!  I could eat fresh raspberries day and night if somebody would pick them for me :-D

What are your favorite varieties of Raspberry?

we grow some and you are right, they are very good.  they also grow wild along one of the trails i ride.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

I'll eat them with honey but by themselves they are too bitter for my taste.

mine are good. maybe it's your variety or soil?  they are firmer than the red, but they are sweet if we get enough sun....which we didn't this year for anything.........

My yellow are the "Anne" variety.  They grow a fall crop on new canes and a spring crop on the overwinterd canes.

I should have enough this year for a batch of yellow jam.
